Robustness of cement-based materials: From dosage variations to yield stress fluctuations

Abstract The idea behind the present work is to assess robustness of fresh cement-based materials (i.e. their ability display same properties when submitted variations in way they are produced) from a generic and analytical point view. First, models literature relating components proportions yield stress combined into multi-scale physical approach compared our experimental measurements. In second part, derivation these relationships used as function proportions, which allows for most sensitive be mapped onto component dosage case fluid concretes, this showcases interest working at slightly higher water content lower aggregates fraction along with benefits viscosity modifying agents / plasticizers combination.
